Hi all.

It looks like I'm going to need a full set of front wishbones, does anybody know where I can buy some...I'm not bothered if they're 2nd hand provided they are serviceable.

Many thanks

if your looking not to spend too much, they are not cheap compared to the stardard one which to be fair do the job, but if your a regular visitor to the track, you will be needing the single screw adjustable ones, which make life so much easier for fine wheel adjustment.

I have had the top and bottom tubulars fitted for 2 years now and l am very happy with them. The top tubular wish bones were a prototype and are painted instead of powder coated. I have been happy with them that much l don't want to remove them to powder coat like the rest of the chassis. The bottom tubular were from Jason, and the only draw back is that l have lost some turning circle as the wheels 16's, will rub the wishbone so l have had to fit nylon packers on the steering rake to prevent thisfrown.

I like that smile

From the photo it looks like ball joint screws direct into wishbone but presumably it doesn't, there must be a way to adjust without disconnecting anything? Something similar to the lower rear wishbone adjuster?

Any idea application those ball joints are originally from?

That's correct. The sleeve in the wishbone turns, enabling the ball joint to screw in or out and the sleeve is a a transition fit into the wishbone tube wish was reamed to get the precise fit.there is a hex head machined at the inside end that you can't see. A simple design. As for the thread its M22 fine pitch thread. I know this because l machined the females to suit. I don't know what the top ball joint is off?. Not my idea that bit. Wish it was !!!

The wishbones I'll be fitting have a crank in them so wider wheels don't rub.

Better design by the sounds of it, mine are just straight. Not sure whether Jason does the same one's as mine anymore?
